Overall, there is a mix of anxiety, encouragement, and tips on how to effectively use these study resources.
Hi everyone, so I test on wednesday OMG!!!! I don't feel ready but I don't know that I'll ever feel ready so here I go.
I did the kaplan qbank with an overall percent of 67%....however I don't feel like it is really accurate because it got to the point where I had seen some of the questions so many times that I knew the answer was B or C or whatever.
I recently found Uworld and wish I had found it earlier. I am a little more than 1/2 way through it, but don't really know what passing is. It will tell me what the average is and I have been higher than that every time, but sometimes not by much...like within 5-7 percent of the score! Is the average score on a uworld quiz a passing score or....?
In the beginning, I tried to do at least 1 set of 75 questions per day. When it got closer to my exam, I started doing 150-200 questions per day. Just do as many as you can without driving yourself crazy. Whenever I had idle time such as being in a waiting room I would also use that to my advantage and did questions instead of scrolling through Facebook. Those minutes add up!
I am using uworld and I am finding it EXTREMELY helpful! I'm learning new information everyday! Some things that I didn't learn in nursing school! Now, I am doing 100 questions per day and am writing out all rationales (I bought a cheap notebook). I am approaching my date and I feel relaxed and confident. I believe half of it is all mental! You need to have a good attitude and have faith that you will pass!
You said you did about 75 questions a day in he beginning and then began doing 150-200 pee day once the test started getting closer. How many weeks or months were you doing this regimen? Did you do it 7 days a week or did you give yourself rest days? That seems like overkill for my brain í ½í¸©
