Uworld? NCLEX

Published

Hello everyone. I am a new graduate nurse preparing for taking nclex on June 10th. I have been using uworld since last week (150-200 questions/day). Did anyone else use uworld and how long did you use it before taking nclex? Any other recommendations on how to study?

Congratulations!!!! That's amazing!!! I bet it feels like a ton of bricks off your shoulders! Hoping and praying I'm right behind you! ??? Consistently doing my daily questions!!!

Good Luck to both of you!! Just keep doing the questions and reading the rationales. Taking the NCLEX isn’t a race at all. I was actually trying to slow down a bit, but throughout nursing school I was usually one of the first people to be done with exams. TBH when the computer cut me off at 75, I was actually disappointed because I felt like I wasn’t doing well at all and wanted an opportunity to do better. Uworld definitely prepares you, you’ll both do just fine, believe in yourself!

Which UWorld package did you purchase? I literally graduated this week and want to take the NCLEX as soon as I can.

I only used uworld for a week. I would go with the 30 day package if you feel like you only need a few weeks to practice. My school used ATI and I got a 99% probability of passing NCLEX the first time on my comprehensive predictor, so I literally took my exam 9 days after graduation, as I felt I didn’t need much prep or remediation.

I also got 99% on the ATI predictor, but I've heard it's not necessarily accurate. You have access to the entire question bank right? The only difference is no assessments?

Yes, but I really didn’t need the assessments. I only had time to go through the questions one time, but that was enough for me. Everyone is different. For me, I only needed practice on questions. I wasn’t weak in any on area, I just needed practice with questions. But, not everyone is like me. You need to determine what works best for you.
