Uworld? NCLEX

Hey there! I'm using UWorld as well. My test isn't for a few more weeks. I'm also using Hurst, NCLEX mastery app, and lachairty book.

I used uworld and Hurst, but preferred uworld due to it's similarity to NCLEX in format, which I feel decreased my anxiety on test day. I would do AT LEAST 100/day. Sometimes I did up to 250ish to prepare me in case I was in for the long haul on the real deal.

Thank you! How long did you practice with uworld before you took nclex?

I’m a new ADN grad too! I’m going to be taking the NCLEX on Saturday (5/18). I just finished the q-bank today for uworld and my average is 64.8 with an 86 percentile.

That's great scores!! So far, after a week, I'm in the 80th percentile. Hopefully that will increase with practice! Good luck!!!

Unofficially passed NCLEX with 75 questions in 54 minutes. Waiting for my BON to issue a license.

Yes, by a long shot! Uworld was the only prep I used. Our school used ATI and it was nothing like NCLEX. My exam was about 50% SATA. I had 4-5 place in correct order sequence, one math question, no hot spots or exhibits, no audio and no diagrams, so basically nothing visual. But everyone’s exam is going to differ from one person to the next.

Good Luck to both of you!! Just keep doing the questions and reading the rationales. Taking the NCLEX isn’t a race at all. I was actually trying to slow down a bit, but throughout nursing school I was usually one of the first people to be done with exams. TBH when the computer cut me off at 75, I was actually disappointed because I felt like I wasn’t doing well at all and wanted an opportunity to do better. Uworld definitely prepares you, you’ll both do just fine, believe in yourself!
