UWF FNP Spring 2021

Published

Hi guys, I just applied to UWF's FNP program that starts in January. I'm curious if anyone else has, as well. Anyone know timelines of when we're supposed to find out if we're accepted or not? Elsewise, do any past or current students have any information on the pace or any other relevant information about the program? I'd appreciate any info ?

What does your application status say? I didn’t get an email yet?!

Mine still says file sent to department ?

My application status changed on MyUWF from applied to admitted.  However, I have not received any emails, calls, or letters..........

I just received email notification of my acceptance and a phone call from my admission counselor telling me I have been accepted into the FNP program.

Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone.  I know the wait is agonizing!

I asked my counselor for an update and she said no decision for me & to hang in there. ?

Nurse102512....what does your application say online? I haven’t heard anything yet either.

Hi everyone! What an excruciatingly long wait! I have been lurking on this page to see if others that have applied had gotten in. Today I got an email with advising pin assignment and one for registration assignment but nothing from any counselor or phone call. I just emailed my counselor to see if this means what I think it means.

RN687, it says applied and then when I click details it says file sent to department. Hopefully a longer wait doesn’t mean bad news ?

Specializes in Mother/Baby, Med/surg.

So it seems that I got in!!!  My status changed to admitted and I have gotten many follow up emails.  I am still awaiting the call but I am in.  So it is just DialysisRN and Lena that are in so far?

Didn't get in either. Good luck to all those who got in!

It seems like the ppl that got in had a lot of work experience (like 10+ years)

So maybe for this program that’s what they were looking for
