Hi All, I haven't seen any news feeds for the 2018 fall entry at UWF. Just thought I would start something since the application due date was today. This school is my first choice, but I'm applying to a few programs. I have a 3.48 overall and 4.0 pre-req GPA and an 88.9 on the TEAS, but I don't have any of the other recommended classes. And, I wasn't able to get enough volunteer hours in time. I wish I knew how much those things mattered... Anyone else applying for this fall?
I wish I had the option to move around to another college. UWF is the only one within a decent distance of here that has a BSN program. I can't do the associated route as it isn't what I want ultimately and would take twice as long anyways. Here's to hoping I don't have to retake the TEAS and apply again next term! Thankfully it's still getting closer to notifications getting sent out!

When I first looked into this program last fall, one of the advisors told me that they typically get a little over 100 applicants. When I spoke with another advisor recently, he said that the last count he had heard was around 200. Considering how many they accept into the program, it doesn't sound so bad. It would be nice to know how many actual qualified applicants they received. Although I'm optimistic, I'm not placing all my "eggs in one basket" as they say. I'm applying to a few schools.
