Hi future nurses! I didn't see a discussion board for the summer term of 2017, so I decided to make one myself(: Let's use this forum to discuss grades, TEAS, and the application process. This does include venting! We all know how anxiety kicks in when there's a bump in the road. Good luck to everyone that is applying!

I can't wait for the application period opens. Anyone that is re-applying, any tips?

It wouldn't be possible for them to "lose" our application correct? Idk, all this waiting is making me think of bogus scenarios

I got an email today with a confidentiality notice at the bottom so I don't really want to elaborate on the content but it could be at least another week before we hear anything further. I didn't get accepted or waitlisted but it should be one or the other. I'm freaking out! I need to know ASAP bc I have a deadline approaching for this other program I need to apply to as back up.

I called Botello and she said everyone should know something by the end of this week. That was on Monday. Has anyone heard anything?

Really simple stuff really.

She asked about my support system, study habits, how I handle challenges. She gave me a scenario in which my grades were slipping and had me explain what I would do. Then she had me ask my questions. We just sort of talked for about an hour.
