Hi future nurses! I didn't see a discussion board for the summer term of 2017, so I decided to make one myself(: Let's use this forum to discuss grades, TEAS, and the application process. This does include venting! We all know how anxiety kicks in when there's a bump in the road. Good luck to everyone that is applying!

I can't wait for the application period opens. Anyone that is re-applying, any tips?

I got an email today with a confidentiality notice at the bottom so I don't really want to elaborate on the content but it could be at least another week before we hear anything further. I didn't get accepted or waitlisted but it should be one or the other. I'm freaking out! I need to know ASAP bc I have a deadline approaching for this other program I need to apply to as back up.
Why do you say it should be accepted or waitlisted?

Does UTMB do transcript evaluation?

UTHeath is the only school I know of that does that and sends the evaluation to the applicant

Just got my e-mail, I am waitlisted. I really hope I get an acceptance as I have no back up plan at this point in time.

I'm sure you will get in still, a bunch of people probably already accepted their offers from other schools because of how long it's taken Utmb. I'm still waiting for an email but I believe you have a good shot of getting in still. :)
