UTMB Summer 2017

Hi future nurses! I didn't see a discussion board for the summer term of 2017, so I decided to make one myself(: Let's use this forum to discuss grades, TEAS, and the application process. This does include venting! We all know how anxiety kicks in when there's a bump in the road. Good luck to everyone that is applying!

I can't wait for the application period opens. Anyone that is re-applying, any tips?

Does anyone know how much longer they will be doing interviews? and has anyone received a rejection yet?

I haven't gotten an interview yet either. I just keep checking my emails over and over, I still have hope. After reading that some of you sent your TEAS scores after the fact makes me wish I had done the same. I got a 78 which really shocked me because I always do so well on these kind of tests. I did also apply for the fall semester as well, so I will definitely see about retesting.

I got a 74, 3.8 science, 3.2 overall and previous BS degree. I had my interview in Nov so there is hope for you. Don't be discouraged. Im still waiting to here back.

Hey, I got 3,7 overall and 3,9 science. And 74 on teas . I don't think I will get in this time, some of my teas sessions r 66 and 68. But I hope I can get a interview at least then I will have better idea when I apply next time. What was your interview like?

Thanks!! Yes I had an interview on January 4th and heard back from them last Friday, February 3rd!

Hey guys I had my Interview yesterday and I asked the lady how much longer they were going to be interviewing and she said they could be issuing out interviews up till march and that the committee that meets up to send out interviews only meets every other week and reviews applications and that that is why it takes so long.

Orientation is May 4th and 5th! I believe classes start on May 8th after the White Coat ceremony?
