Hi future nurses! I didn't see a discussion board for the summer term of 2017, so I decided to make one myself(: Let's use this forum to discuss grades, TEAS, and the application process. This does include venting! We all know how anxiety kicks in when there's a bump in the road. Good luck to everyone that is applying!

I can't wait for the application period opens. Anyone that is re-applying, any tips?

I talked to Ms.Botello and she told me we should all know something by the first week in February. That will be the last wave called for.

I took it as by the first week in February they will have all the interviews completed.

For those who got accepted would you mind sharing your academic stats and teas scores so that the people who haven't heard back yet know where they stand in being accepted?

I had my interview on Dec. 5th and received my acceptance email on Dec. 23rd. This is my 3rd time applying. I have a degree in BS from Texas A&M.

STATS:

TEAS: 81.7%

GPA: 3.34

Science GPA: 3.44

Teas: 74.7

GPA: 3.81

Science: 3.57

Experience: 7 yrs Combat medic

I haven't even gotten an interview yet... sucks, I guess teas test is so much more important than anything else... =\

I actually believe the personal statement is more important than anything else. Your stats are very competitive to me.

if you're worried about your teas score, study a bit more and retake it! I retook it after the application deadline and sent my new scores to Elizabeth Botello!

I interviewed December 9th and still haven't heard anything. Not sure if I should just go ahead and submit my application for Fall 2017 or not. Anyone else out there who interviewed and still haven't heard anything?

how long after the deadline did you send your new TEAs scores??

Just a heads up, the fall application deadline is in 4 days. If you choose to reapply I'd send it in stat. Good luck on your pending application though. Hopefully you won't need to reapply.
