Hello,
I've applied to UTMB starting in May of 2015.
I had not seen any posts regarding this so I though I would get it going.
All my stuff is with the school and my "mystar" is up and going.

Anyone have any idea of when we might hear something?
I have a question for those of you who are already into their sesmter about the schedule. How many days do we have class and clinicals? And where are the clinical rotations at for the first semester? Also I heard we get one day off from the week? Is that true? If so what day do we get off?? Sorry for all the questions but I hope you can help me!
Someone posted about possible first semester schedule on first or second page of this thread :)

i'm pretty sure the first semester is just one day of clinicals. everyones clinicals will be different some go to houston and other surrounding areas and some will be in galveston
Hey everyone I'm a first semester student and if you have been accepted I highly recommend going on facebook and joining the group UTMB SON BSN Class of 2016. If you don't have a UTMB email yet you can't join at this point since it is a closed group. They have great information and we can answer all of your questions on there. Remember try not to say staff and faculty names on here. See you all soon!

Where would you suggest living? I've thought about getting a place close to campus, but I'm having second thoughts since I might have clinicals in Houston?Advice from current students would be much appreciated!
Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. Living on the island is super convenient, but I live about 45 mins away and the commute has never been a problem for me and it's much easier for me to get to clinical in Houston than it is for those that live on the island. I would suggest living wherever your budget is best kept. Living on the island can be a bit expensive.

Do you happen to know anything about UTMB Ferry Road apartment? I found out the rent rates at ferry road is relatively cheaper than any other apartments on the island. If you have any info and don't mind sharing I would greatly appreciate it!
