UTMB Spring 2018

Hello everyone! I plan on applying to UTMB for Spring 2018 entry and can't find a post on it, so I decided to make one! I am taking my TEAS end of April. I already have a degree from the University of Houston in Health Communication and minor in Nutrition. I am finishing my last two prerequisites (A&P2, Microbiology) right now at a community college. Anyone else looking to apply? Deadline is coming up next month, so I thought it would be awesome to get a group thread going! Would love to hear from others applying!

For those reapplying for summer 2018, are you changing up your personal statement?

Nope, I'm just submitting the same stuff but I wont be doing that till august 1st, wait for a hear back hopefully.

As of now, I don't have plans to change my PS at all. My thought process is that if you felt good about your original statement, don't change it. If you have reason to believe that your PS is holding you back, then yes, I would try to improve it for the next application cycle.

Because we haven't heard of anyone being contacted yet for the Spring admissions, I feel it's premature to be doubting our applications (including our personal statement). It is just taking longer to evaluate our applications this round than it has in the past.

The application deadline for Spring was May 31st. The application deadline for Summer is August 15th.

No! That's the weird thing. No 'To Dos' or anything. Everything looks the same as it did when I submitted.

Well idk if this is the 1st round but it's already 7:18 where I'm at, so I'm guessing tomorrow is another day
