UTMB Spring 2016

I did do that I know that is what your suppose to do but I do not see them listed and my information was verified yesterday morning so I am a little confused as to why I can't see them as posted, I may just have to call and ask NursingCas maybe there is a glitch

I just got off the phone with them for another issue, apparently they were having issues with system yesterday. My gpa's are directly after the list of classes.

Just in case anyone is wondering NursingCas does not have access to GPAs right now so if your information was verified yesterday the application is complete but no one not even UTMB can see the GPA and the schools are aware of this issue and the issue will be updated sometime mid next week. I went ahead and called them to ask why I could not see any GPAs

Hi all! I am also applying to UTMB for the Spring 2016 semester. I wanted to ask your opinion about my TEAS scores. I know overall I did great, but I'm not real happy with my Science score and am contemplating retaking the darn thing. My overall score for the TEAS is 86.7, which ranks 97% national and program. My individual scores are Reading: 90.5, Math: 100, English: 93.3 and Science: 72.9. There were a lot of questions on my exam that were not in the ATI Study Guide, and I was really cramming a lot of information because it's been several years since I've taken the science courses. I was pretty happy, but keep thinking I should study a few more days and give it another go, but don't want to waste time and money if it's good enough. The 72.9 is still ranked 88th% nationally... what do you all think?? I read on UTMB's website a 75 in all sections is considered competitive.

I think that is a very good score! And as long as your GPA looks good then I think that is pretty competitive.

I keep hearing from admissions that the GPA and personal statement are the most important part of the application.

I'm still waiting for nursingcas to verify and calculate my gpa. Is anyone else in the same boat? It is taking them forever...Will I still be considered for the spring? I technically already paid for my application and everything... so worried!

I am! I paid and submitted everything and Nursing CAS has all of my transcripts. Just not verified. I have heard mixed answers from UTMB regarding if THEY needed everything by the deadline or if it just had to be paid and submitted and documents received by Nursing CAS by the deadline. Anyone know?

I am also in the same boat. I am very anxious about waiting. I had to wait until the end of spring 2015 to apply so I would have the forty hours. Hopefully we just needed to send NursingCAS every thing before the 31st.

When looking at the gpa UTMB is looking at the natural science gpa correct?

Hey all!

Like apl00, I also applied for Fall 2015 and was waitlisted, but granted conditional acceptance for Spring 2016 if I'm not removed from the waitlist!

The major advice I can give yall is have patience, not a little but a TON of patience. The process took forever for the Fall 2015 group, but never lose faith or hope! You'll be fine, I wish the best of luck to all of yall! And if I don't get off the waitlist, I'll see yall in January!!!
