Howdy! I couldn't find a thread for Spring 2016, so I figured I would start my own. I'm having trouble with this whole application thing (mostly stress!), so I would love to talk to others going through this same process!

My interview was the 22nd it's so hard to gauge the time frame because only one person has mentioned their acceptance on this feed hopefully a wave of responses will go out soon! I waited one week before becoming obsessed with mystar lol

Sorry guys I know I got asked my stats about a week ago. I've been so busy. I applied for the fall but didn't get in because all of my stuff was later than most due to problems with nursing cas. However I did get early interview and consideration for spring. My interview was on the 12 of June and my acceptance was around the 25-26. I honestly don't remember my stats exactly. I know I had an overall of 79 on my TEAS scores. My overall gpa was around a 3.86. The interview was very relaxed and they asked a lot of questions about me and my personal statement. First question was tell me about yourself, my study habits, my support system how my family and friends feel, if I wasn't doing well in a class what would I do, why I feel I would be a good nurse, why I want to be in the program...that's all I can remember for sure. It was nothing intimidating at all. So good luck to you all!

I will be starting at UTMB this fall. Just wanted to let everyone know to stay positive and just because you have a low GPA/TEAS doesn't mean that you won't get it. It is all about you as a person. I can't believe that y'all get interviews so soon!

I finally got my MyStar information today after waiting a week. I wanted to ask, how long did it take for you guys to hear from OASA regarding an interview? Currently my application status just says complete in my student center.

**If you guys have any issues or delays with your application I would highly recommend speaking with Melissa, she immediately sent me my supplemental app and MyStar info.

My MyStar doesn't have any information yet. I have had access to it for a week last Friday. Should I call someone or is this normal?

That's a good question. Hopefully one the newly accepted nursing students could tell us. On the approximate application timeline it says 4-6wks but hopefully it doesn't take that long :/

What does your mister say? Everyone keeps talking about a green circle. my application just says "completed"....and on the accept application tab it says "there are no applications for admission.
