UTMB Spring 2016

Howdy! I couldn't find a thread for Spring 2016, so I figured I would start my own. I'm having trouble with this whole application thing (mostly stress!), so I would love to talk to others going through this same process!

The interview was very very relaxed all the questions that I was asked came from my personal statement. So nothing that can really trip you up just be on time and show that you are really interested !!

I have my interview tomorrow. How was the interview? Whats kinds of questions did they ask and were there any that tripped you up?

I tried to be nice, and sound desperate hahaha no joke, i just told them i was worried because it was taking a little longer than what they originally told me, and then he said he will send it to verify immediately, which he did. It still took more than two or so days after that, so I just called again and ask whether there was something wrong with my transcripts, and after that, an hour later they were verified.

Congratulations on your acceptance!! Would you mind sharing your stats so we have an idea? If you don't feel comfortable with that, do you think they were truly interested in volunteering/shadowing/medical experience throughout the interview, or did they focus on something else?

Hey everyone, has anyone heard anymore results from their interviews ? Mine went well, at least I think that it did, just waiting to hear anything !

I interviewed on the 25th and I haven't heard back yet. I know it'll take some time, but I check mystar at least 5 times a day haha

My interview was also on the 25th. He said we may not hear anything for up to 4-6 weeks. Hopefully it wont be that long!
