Hey guys Im making this thread so all of the applicants for UTMB Spring 2010 can follow each other through the process and help each other out! The application deadline is coming up soon! Goodluck to all!:nuke: I know they are only exepting 60 for the spring.

i applied for the bacc2 program that must be why they called me the other day to make sure i was finishing up my prerequisites. i thought they would be evaluating the apps at the same time... is such a drawn out process!

ughhhh!!! this is annoying! I have to say they've had our apps since July 31 and they havent even looked at the applications! UT Houston has been sending out interviews left & right and the deadline was the beginning of sept!

I know what you mean Jazzynurse2b I wanna get my swag on too! and I know Ms.Sealy does too lol Hopefully 2 weeks will come quick!

Hey guys today I talked to someone and for those of you in the BACC2 program they said that they are finishing reviewing today, you will get an email Monday or Tuesday and the interview is Friday. They are trying to do everyone on Friday so I would request off now if you think this will be an issue. Have a great weekend everyone!

Hi all, I've been lurking here for a while. I'm a bacc2 applicant as well, and I still haven't heard anything as of 4:41 pm Friday.

That's all the info I have, but figured it might help in forecasting where they are at.

Ms pink and Ms Sealy, youll are too funny. Youll it is 200 applicants for the BSN program and they are taking between 70 and 85. OMG, lions tigers and bears oh my!! I think by now the SON has my number memorized. I figure if I can't stalk my email or my mail lady why not them. LOL.

**SWAG ON**Jazzy** Of the 200, there will be quite a few who will decline acceptance for one reason or another..some will not be finished with classwork, immunizations, background check may fall thru..UTMB may not be their first choice..etc..so those are great odds and we have a good chance of getting in of we get called for an interview.

I almost forgot! the people who don't get into the bacc2 program go into our category for the traditional program too! Good luck to everyone!

miss pink, are you sure. do they get a second interview too. i wonder if they choose BACC2 leftovers after they choose the traditional.

ms. pink speaks the truth. at the open house at utmb, we were told if a person is not accepted into the bacc2 program they are automatically put in the bsn pool for consideration.

I'm not sure how they go about it for the bacc2 left overs. I just know at the info session they said they get thrown back into our pool (traditional program).
