UTMB Spring/Summer 2019

Hi I know it's a few months early, but have anyone started getting their application/essay ready to apply to UTMB for 2019? Lol I'm nervous looking at blogs from previous years. I'm also scared to take the TEAS. I plan on applying for Summer 2019.

Why did you have two interviews if you don't mind me asking?

I don't know why I got two interviews. I didn't want to pry them about it.

Mine also says Oct. 13th. This whole process has been emotionally draining. So for people who have been on the waitlist in the past... do you ever get a denial when class starts and it closes? Or do you just stay in limbo till the first day of class?

Hey guys I wouldn't worry so much about the date she probably just forgot to change it. But mine also says the same day.

I did not recieve my denial email till May 10. Although I think since they are already sending out waitlist emails they won't have us waiting that long. As last year emails were still being sent out in December/January.

I understand how difficult this is as I went through it last year but perhaps try and step away from this forum as it can be very toxic at least it was for me. Last year it got to the point where I was checking my emails and this forum every hour. I am very happy for the people who got in but I'll always wish it was me. Everyone's time will come.

UTMB is a wonderful school with an amazing program and the best staff I have heard of. Good luck to everyone. I will see what I can do to make my application more competitive. Happy holidays to everyone. Take this time to enjoy your families! Good luck to everyone as the process continues.

Just got an email saying I am waitlisted for Summer 2019..

I was told that if your Mystar says accepted you would be next on the waitlist. I think you are next for Spring 2019 but you can probably call them about it.

I have been waitlisted for Summer 19 and I'm seeing that there are quite a few of you on here that have also been waitlisted. Does anyone know the number of students that they allow on the waitlist?

I find it crippling that they do not disclose what position you are on the waitlist since I am from out of state and am applying to other schools (as I'm sure most of you are as well).
