UTMB Spring/Summer 2019

Hi I know it's a few months early, but have anyone started getting their application/essay ready to apply to UTMB for 2019? Lol I'm nervous looking at blogs from previous years. I'm also scared to take the TEAS. I plan on applying for Summer 2019.

I am in the same situation as you. I got my email today and was waitlisted for fall. Hopefully, this is our semester!

Yes, first they will do about 3 rounds of interviews for admission then after they send out all the acceptances they will do another round of interviews but it is to be interviewed for the waitlist not admission.

It is really confusing, for example : I was interviewed for admission and then was placed on the waitlist. I suppose I am higher on the waitlist then those who were interviewed for the waitlist. No one really knows though.

Can anyone tell me the exact classes they take to calculate science GPA at UTMB? I took many sciences, so my natural science GPA from Nursing CAS doesn't represent the UTMB requirements one.

The science GPA is calculated with A&P I, A&P II, Micro, Chem, Nutrition, and the Elective Science.

Hey! When do you think we find out after the interview if we got accepted or not? Also, what attire did you wear to the interview? Business casual?

Hey everyone, my first time posting to the thread. I got an email to be interviewed for admission as well! I am very excited. I was wondering since the email did not specify, what attire do we wear to the interview? I'm assuming business attire, but wanted to double check.

The whole process takes a very long time. For fall the deadline was Jan. 15 and I believe the last round of interviews for admission was late March. Then by April everyone who had not heard back was told their admission Status. Then in May they started doing interviews for the waitlist.

Yes I wore buisness attire. I wore slacks instead of a skirt, and closed toed low heels.
