UTMB Spring/Summer 2019

Hi I know it's a few months early, but have anyone started getting their application/essay ready to apply to UTMB for 2019? Lol I'm nervous looking at blogs from previous years. I'm also scared to take the TEAS. I plan on applying for Summer 2019.

For anyone who's in the same situation as I was, I've been sent an acceptance email this morning!

I still haven't heard back from the waitlist, and I haven't heard back for summer! Hopefully whoever is in the same position as me hears back soon! Especially with UTH sending out acceptances.

Are any of you in the summer cohort worried about finding a job after graduating in August? Some people have told me that usually hospitals are not hiring in August and it is really hard to find a job. However, other people have said not to worry. Anyone have any input on this?

my cousin was in the summer cohort and graduated last august and solidified a job by September.. Hospitals are hiring majority of the time I think the issue is that people aren't as willing to relocate if needed so their options of jobs are limited.

I have not heard back for summer! I have not received an email for anything as well!! is there anyone else in the same situation?

Same! My overall GPA is pretty low so we shall see. they told me i'm still being considered but have to wait.

So I was reading my email on my way to Galveston right now and it says I will be interviewing with one FACULTY tomorrow, not faculty member, for my second interview, do y'all think I'm going to be interviewing with 3 professors at once?

I hope so too! I've been on the waitlist since August and the wait has been nothing short of agonizing! I know it will be worth it at the end, though. I haven't heard back anything for Summer, either. So I'm right there with you!
