UTMB Spring/Summer 2019

Published

Hi I know it's a few months early, but have anyone started getting their application/essay ready to apply to UTMB for 2019? Lol I'm nervous looking at blogs from previous years. I'm also scared to take the TEAS. I plan on applying for Summer 2019.

I turned in my application on 7/15/18!

Cumulative 3.4

Science 3.8

89 on teas!

Nursing cas ate significantly into my pre-req gpa.

Congratulations and good luck to all of my fellow classmates!

Congrats!! Hopefully the rest of us hear something soon. I haven't gotten anything and am starting to get discouraged :/

Don't feel bad I am too! Lol

CHECK YOUR EMAILS

Congrats!! I got my acceptance email as welll!!! :) :) I interviewed on Sept. 19.

Unfortunately now I'm in an awkward spot as I try to wait for UTHealth.

I interviewed on 9/20. Hopefully I will hear back sometime soon. Keeping my fingers crossed!

I was rejected for UT Health last fall. I've seen several others try 2-6 times try to get in there after a rejection. It's also a lottery. I applied to UT Health again for Spring 2019 but I'm not holding my breath lol. I'm totally stoked to be a longhorn either way! Woo! My stats for UT Health were 3.8 cumulative and 4.0 science and an 87 HESI. I retook my HESI for spring 2019 and it's now a 90.

I got early admission without an interview! I'm so excited! Looking forward to meeting many of you next summer!

You were definitely a part of the early admits even though you interviewed!

Hi y'all I also recieved my early acceptance today :D can't wait to see y'all next summer!!!

Yeah, I'm so nervous about UTHealth based on everything I've been hearing. My cumulative GPA is about a 3.6 and 4.0 in science (if you only count the pre-req sciences, since I've taken others over the years). My HESI was a 96.4 so I'm hoping that helps. Seems like there aren't any guarantees though.

Is anyone else having trouble paying their deposit? When I go to put the 206 in for credit card it keeps just increasing the price?

I had this problem until I logged in using internet explorer. For some reason it is really picky about what search engine you use.
