UTMB Spring/Summer 2019

Hi I know it's a few months early, but have anyone started getting their application/essay ready to apply to UTMB for 2019? Lol I'm nervous looking at blogs from previous years. I'm also scared to take the TEAS. I plan on applying for Summer 2019.

No I haven't received any email from them after my interview, so I am waiting patiently. Did you check MYstar to see if there was any changes in your account?

Yep, nothing. Had some weird issues with it yesterday and it had to be reactivated for some reason. So idk, praying all these are good signs í ½í¹í ¼í¿¼.

Does anyone know the average GPA/Science GPA of people who get admitted?

It looks like they accept as low as 3.0 from what I have seen on here, but I would assume the average is around 3.5 at least.

I called and Chelsea told me the admissions board hasn't even met yet because they've had 2 holidays............. lol but she also said they'll be meeting on 7/12 so hopefully we hear something next week

Hi guys!

Brief Intro: Had my hopes set on UT Health, was denied. I was denied with decent stats! I retook my HESI and got a 90.

I took my first TEAS on 6/26 and made an 82, I absolutely BOMBED grammar with a 58.

Retook TEAS today (7/10) and got a 89.3, and a much better rate in grammar!

Anyways I'm finally finishing up my application for the summer 2019 segment.

Cumulative GPA: 3.6

Nursing pre req's: 3.8

Science 4.0

No formal previous experience but have had a heart baby and took care of my terminally ill grandfather. I have a decent personal statement. I'm super excited to join in on another forum! Sorry if I am a bit early since I'm a summer 2019 person!

I had my interview June 14th!

I got a 84.5 on the TEAS!

Reading: 78

Math: 96

Science: 91

English: 66

Overall GPA: 3.85

Science GPA: 3.8

Pre req: 3.8

No experience besides helping people with mental and intellectual disabilities.

What are my chances??

You have a good chance. Our hesi scores were almost identical and your gpas are higher than mine! I was already accepted for spring
