UTMB Spring/Summer 2019

Published

Hi I know it's a few months early, but have anyone started getting their application/essay ready to apply to UTMB for 2019? Lol I'm nervous looking at blogs from previous years. I'm also scared to take the TEAS. I plan on applying for Summer 2019.

Just submitted my NursingCAS application! Now it's time to wait for supplemental application from UTMB.

Hello all, I'm apply for UTMB Spring 2019 and my stats are as followed:

TEAS overall: 83.3%

Overall GPA:3.0 (on the lower side)

Science GPA:3.5

Prereq GPA: 3.6

I have an Associate's and a Bachelor's as well.

I was active in student life, have a lot of volunteer experience, and received a BLS-Healthcare Provider Certification.

What are my chances of getting in the program?

Help! I'm nervous.

what supplemental application for UTMB?

UTMB will send out a suppplement application basically asking about family info after you turn in your application! I got accepted for Fall 2018 so feel free to ask me anything!

Just got my MyStar account, now it's time to wait for decisions.

I need advice, please help. So the deadline for Spring 19 is April 30th. I just took the TEAS and did not do so well. 74% to be exact but I won't be able to retake it before the deadline. Should I send in my application with the score anyways? specially since I started the nursingca application already and even paid the 65.00 for them to input my grades. I am at a lost right now. I will retake the TEAS regardless, but won't be able to before the deadline, because I think you have to wait 30 days between test.

You do not have to wait 30 days. UTMB doesn't have a policy of it. I would try to contact the office to see if you retake it soon after the deadline. I heard someone try that but do not know if it is true! Try to retake it again!

You don't have to wait 30 days for UTMB. I'd start working on taking it again before the deadline!

Hi, I'm currently debating applying for Summer 2019. I'm just worried that my science gpa is too low to stand a chance at getting in. Does anyone know of someone who got into the program with a low science gpa?

Of course you should apply, regardless of what your GPA is!

Science GPA: 3.2

Cumulative GPA: 3.61

I haven't taken the TEAS yet.
