UTMB Spring/Summer 2019

Hi I know it's a few months early, but have anyone started getting their application/essay ready to apply to UTMB for 2019? Lol I'm nervous looking at blogs from previous years. I'm also scared to take the TEAS. I plan on applying for Summer 2019.

Does anyone else have a previous degree that was accepted into the program?

I have a Bachelor's and my GPA is a little lower than I like but I made an 89% on the entrance test.

So. Nervous.

My gpa wasn't too great either.

I made an 84.7 on my test. I just had an associates.

I also had my interview on the 11th and haven't heard anything either but I am staying hopeful!! Praying for us!!

I believe the email said we can't get back ground checked till after October correct to those who have been accepted..

Yes I saw that and guess when I got my background check?! Literally the same day I get the email lol.

During my interview I was told that 130 students are admitted during the spring/fall semesters! I had my interview last Wednesday and I haven't heard back yet either, but let's stay hopeful guys!

Apparently last fall, 132 students were accepted, which isn't much more than the usual accepted amount but I guess there were a lot of applicants last semester. During the summer, 90 students are accepted.

Ive heard its the same during fall/spring (around 130) and less in the summer like you said (around 90).

During my interview I was told between 130-132 for the spring semester, and I believe I heard up to 137 at orientation! So there's definitely spots left! :) My friend who started last spring didn't even interview until late August and got accepted early September! There is still so much hope for you all still waiting to hear back! I get the nerves, I freaked out every time I got an email. Wishing for the best for you all!!!

I was thinking about making a facebook group for those who have been admitted so that we can get to know each other! Would anybody be interested?

Definitely, interested in the FB group! It could also really help us prepare for the start of the program!

Good to know about how many are accepted during the Spring. I must have been getting Spring and Sunmer mixed up.

Facebook group would be very helpful and is a great idea!
