UTMB Spring 2015 Applicants

Hey Y'all,

I read through the whole UTMB Fall 2014 thread and thought I'd start the next semesters thread (because I couldn't find one). I know the application doesn't close until May 31st, but thought it would be helpful to start this now.

Do we know for sure if the admissions committee met yesterday?

jmk31 noted earlier that they e-mailed them and was told they were to meet yesterday. They also have a habit of sending out interview invites and acceptances on Wednesday or Thursdays. As far as I know they haven't sent out acceptances in two or three weeks, which means it's likely to happen this week.

All my opinion.

Edit: Acceptances have gone out Thursday July 10th, two weeks later Tuesday July 22nd, three weeks later August 11th. It is now two weeks later and we're waiting....

I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't hear anything. Last time they took three weeks instead of two. I just don't know why they would drag it out that long if admissions met on Tuesday. I'd love to know before classes start on Monday...

I don't know if we are going to hear anything today at least. I called and they said they were in the middle of orientation so they couldn't check anything, to call back next week.

That's why they should have sent everything out last week!

I saw their orientation schedule somewhere. Actually I saw the entire "you've been accepted" packet somewhere which included the orientation schedule. Pretty hectic.

I was told last week the committee met Tuesday... so hopefully tomorrow!! Fingers crossed!
