UTMB Spring 2014 Applicants

The application process has just gotten under way for UTMB spring admission. Has anyone taken the TEAS tests? Any helpful hints on getting a high score?

Hi! I have applied for the UTMB BSN Traditional Program for Spring 2014. I received the MyStar login information last Monday. However I have read on some of these posts that y'all are able to see something that states application complete. I don't have anything similar to that. I was wondering how long after you received your log in information for MyStar were you able to see the application complete? Thank y'all![/quote']

You have to click campus solutions>> student center>> then scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see your application status. Good luck!

Hey guys! So I'm applying to UTMB for the Spring 2014 too and have submitted my application. Now I am just getting my nerves racked up waiting for the green check.

What a bummer, but thanks for the info! Maybe you will be one of those lucky people who receives a phone call on the first day saying theres an open spot! Anywho, are you still working on any more of your prereqs?

Out of curiosity, does anyone have an idea of when we will hear if we are admitted into nursing school? I know the process takes from 4-6 weeks but is it sometimes sooner or later than that ideal time frame?

I do not know for sure, I am going off of the previous cycles postings. It seems as though sometime in August will be the first round of acceptances. Then September through October there will be other waves of acceptances. Finally from what I understand people are wait listed and accepted all the way up to the first day of class. Hope that helps a little!

ELLO! So about me. Name is Sarah, applied to Utmb fall 2013, got waitlisted (waiting hopefully for a Yes!), applied for the spring 2014 just in case I don't get in this fall. Done with all of my prereqs, gonna retake the TEAS on August 6th (is that too late, since the deadline was like July 1st?). So Yeah, my life in a nutshell right now.

Im also on the waitlist for fall 2013 (and desperatly hoping for a yes too!) I reapplied just in case. I think it may be too late for the Teas since everything is due july 1st. But they still will get the score. Who knows, maybe your score will be so great they think "wow lets look at her app, these scores are so great we have to let her in!" Study lots! It cant hurt to send it in.

I was specifically told by the admissions advisor that we need to take the TEAS test before the (July 1st) deadline. :bookworm:

Yes it is. I am also on the waiting list. The deadline for the fall was originally January15th but was extended until February 15th.
