UTMB Spring 2014 Applicants

The application process has just gotten under way for UTMB spring admission. Has anyone taken the TEAS tests? Any helpful hints on getting a high score?

That makes me feel better I was only accounting for 4. I do realize that, that number is not near official or something I or anyone else should go by. But it sure does make me feel better. lol

Just called the lady told me that all acceptances have been sent out. They dont know if there will be a waitlist or not nor do they know how many will be on the waitlist if they do have one. So if you havent heard back yet there is a possibilty that your on the waitlist. Really doesnt make sense to me going off of the information everyone has previously been told but thats what she told me.

Has anyone gotten any e-mails lately? It has been a long while since i remember anyone saying they have gotten an acceptance e-mail.

Thanks for the update. So are we suppose to be looking for a letter or email now? I do not know what to think lol... I have not heard anything. I have been looking in my mail, email and mystar daily for some type of news. I am just ready to know so I can figure out what I need to do. Good Luck. Hopefully this waiting game will end soon its killing me.

E-mail I believe. I really dont know what to think either. I just dont feel like the information that I was just told was correct. I would think someone that is on this website would of posted something if they got an acceptance but then the other thing is the members of the facebook group hasnt sky rocketed and i know not everyone has a FB but 30 ppl not having one doubtful plus last semester when everyhting went out that FB group went from like 50 to 120 in the matter of like an hour.

Oh really hmm, I guess we will have to wait and see. Also, I just don't understand how they would not know if they were going to have a wait list or not. I agree with you about Facebook...

No I didn't. Even though my grades arent the best they are decent I work as an LVN for UTMB and figured I shouldnt have to much trouble getting in since I have the work experience plus an employee. But I was wrong if I dont get in I will apply for the bridge progam at Galveston College.

I also haven't heard anything and my interview was on November 14th. I don't understand how they could not have a waitlist. What happens when people drop out at the last minute or decline the offer for another school. They have to have something in place for that type of situation. I am definitely frustrated with how they have handled the communication throughout this entire process. Hopefully we do hear something by Monday.

Oh wow! You would think your experience and working at UTMB would have helped out a lot since they look at the whole person! That would be good to do the bridge and then get your BSN! Don't give up! :)

What she told me doesnt make sense to me by any means. ttong had said that we should here something monday, when i asked the lady when they would know about the waitlist her reply was that the committee was meeting on monday but she didnt know when we would find anything out or what the topic of discussion was
