The application process has just gotten under way for UTMB spring admission. Has anyone taken the TEAS tests? Any helpful hints on getting a high score?

Just tried to login into mystar to check everything like I do everyday, but now I'm having trouble logging in. Anyone else having the same problem? I just emailed enrollment services about it....

They do routine maintenance every Sunday from 6-10, you should be able to login after that.
Do y'all think we will be getting an email notification from enrollment services when they start reviewing the applications like the last cycle? I really can't believe it's almost October and not one person has been accepted yet.

At the last info session they said the admissions committee would be reviewing our applications the last week of September... Which is now! Lol
If they are reviewing them now like they said they would be in the information session, it sure would be nice to get a heads up from them that the reviewing process has actually begun. Waiting is fun
Lol I hear ya! I guess we will know when we receive an email asking to come in for an interview!

Hey friends!
So we're nearing the end of September, we're anxious, excited, & scared, but we should all be proud of ourselves for choosing a field that is so self-less and honorable. It takes a special person to be at the forefront of life & death everyday. There is a quote I'd like to share from Maya Angelou about nurses:
"They may forget your name but they will never forget how you made them feel."
Whatever the outcome of the first round of admission decisions, let's not forget that there are many paths toward the BSN, whether it's direct admit or by earning the ADN-RN first and then the BSN afterward.
I want to wish all of you luck! Hopefully on Monday some of us will be surprised with a green check mark in our MyStar. Keep hoping, praying, & wishing!
Thanks,
Levi

Hey guys! Just an update, I called the admissions office to figure out some kind of information and what to expect. No person will be admitted without an interview, but not every person that gets an interview will be accepted either. They are reviewing applications still (there were about 400 applicants (they said this was a lot less than the fall)) and have already sent out some declining letters. If you have not received a decline letter, then you are still in the running for an interview. Within the next two weeks, they will be sending out interview invitations along with more decline letters. The interview process should be all done in October. If you get an interview, then you should know the final decision regarding acceptance by mid November.
Good Luck guys!

Thanks for all the great information! Good luck everyone!:)
Thank you for the update!
That's intense that everyone HAS to be interviewed. Imagine if they felt 150 applicants were a good choice, four weeks of interviews (starting next week) 37 of us would need to be interviewed each week to complete interviews by the end of the month. Just my thought process. Good luck everyone! And may the odds be ever in your favor.
