UTMB Fall 2020

Hey y'all! I will be applying for UTMB SON for fall 2020! I couldn't find a forum for it, so I decided to start one! It is a little early but many of you know it take forever to gather everything needed for the application! Please post all of your questions, stats, etc. SO excited to apply in November!

Okay so I completely did not realize I was in UTMB so ignore the admissions score part. But yeah, my friend got accepted into UTMB and she said even if you have a low GPA, the personal statement could be why gets you in.

My overall GPA worries me but I know they focus more on the nursing GPA.
TEAS 86.0

nursing GPA 3.67

overall GPA 3.17

same. I was told by someone in admissions that they hope to have all decisions sent out by the end of April, so if you haven't heard anything yet either, we'll be in the waiting game for awhile

I'm leaning towards UTHealth right now because it's closer to where I live and I want to do their masters programs later, but both programs seem to be amazing.

I had a GPA of 3.9 and a HESI score of 96% and TEAS score of 89%. Plus I worked as a CNA for half a year. I got into UTHealth (Summer 2020), UTMB (fall 2020), Texas A&M (fall 2020) and TWU (fall 2020).

I got the decision for uthealth and utmb around march 20th. Then found out about TAMU around March 30th and TWU around the beginning of April.

I'm a little late to this thread and still haven't received anything (acceptance, denial, waitlist) so I was just wondering if you had heard back yet or not since you first posted this?

I still haven’t heard back but when I talked to a representative from the school they told me that they were reviewing applications again this coming week for wave two of admissions. So keep a look out this coming week for an email.

I just got an email saying I am waitlisted. I am a little confused though because it says, "We wish we could offer you a spot, but at this time our admissions for Summer is full. Summer 2020 admissions has been very competitive and we are limited in the number of acceptances we are allowed." I applied for Fall 2020 though... anyone else get the same thing?
