  1. Made a group me! https://groupme.com/join_group/55470380/ium2y92g
  2. I'm applying to UTHealth also! Maybe even TWU & St. Thomas, trying to apply to as many as I can because I know fall is SO competitive!
  3. The fall semester is always more competitive, so I read on the website that 858 people apply and they accept 130! Definitely scary! & Are yall applying anywhere else or just UTMB??
  4. I had to have my BLS for healthcare providers for work. (I work at UTMB) Your right it does say that your BLS is helpful, so I would go ahead and schedule it, just too get it out of the way and hope that it does make you more competitive, fingers crossed! Good luck! I am sure you will do great!
  5. When are you taking it? I took mine today and made an 86, so not too bad!
  6. One more month til the application opens! <3
  7. It is okay to be anxious, believe me I am so nervous about getting in! Don't compare your stats to anyone else's because UTMB admits on so many different cases. They base it off of everything you submit, not just your GPA. Work hard for your teas and write a bad *** personal transcript and resume, and hope for the best! I believe in you!
  8. Hey @valamar7 Don't stress about it! Everything will work out! So UTMB looks at 3 GPA's (science, overall, and pre-requisite), when I emailed Mrs. Botello (admissions counselor at UTMB) she told me that a competitive candidate usually has a 3.35 GPA in all 3 of those and a 75% or higher on each section of the TEAS. What is your cumulative GPA now after taking those 6 courses? & what will it be at the time of your application this winter if you keep straight A's?
  9. Hey! I plan on taking my TEAS in November because I am taking A&P & Chemistry this semester! I’m also very nervous about it, but i think brushing up on your A&P will help out A LOT!
  10. I don’t think so! In previous threads people have came from all over, like dallas & other parts!
  11. Hey y'all! I will be applying for UTMB SON for fall 2020! I couldn't find a forum for it, so I decided to start one! It is a little early but many of you know it take forever to gather everything needed for the application! Please post all of your questions, stats, etc. SO excited to apply in November!
