UTMB FALL 2019

The UTMB Fall 2019 application opens soon on November 15! Have you started on your essay or the TEAS preparation yet? I am so excited and nervous at the same time and have been stalking past threads on AllNurses.

Currently taking AP I and Microbiology and will be taking AP II in the Spring. I hope to take the TEAS by the end of December.

Please feel free to discuss your experience, stats, comments, etc.

Just found out I got admitted!!!! I really hope everyone hears something soon. Please don't lose hope, I'm praying and rooting for everyone in here. Also congratulations to the other acceptances!!

It just shows on my portal. I was kinda confused too honestly because this whole time i've been a nervous wreck waiting for an email and refreshing everyday haha

Honestly with your stats i'm sure you'll hear something soon! You had a crazy good TEAS score and great GPA. Don't lose hope and i'm rooting for you to hear good news ?

Just checked my MyStar portal and I've been admitted!

Overall GPA from TAMU: 3.58

Science GPA: ~3.3

TEAS: 92

I honestly am so surprised that I got in without an interview. Maybe my resume and personal statement helped!

Yes I don't mind! For GPA I got a 3.8 for both pre-reqs and science. TEAS I got an 83. I think what really got me in was my personal statement which I tried my best to work and focus on. I didn't have any healthcare experience but I wrote about my life experiences, study habits, and good/bad traits about myself on how I would factor that in the healthcare setting. And also of course, why I wanted to be a nurse.
