Hey! I wanted to make this post because I didn't see a thread for those who are applying to UTMB Galveston Fall 2018. I know application hasn't open yet, but I just took my teas score. I have no idea if it is good enough for UTMB standards. I currently have 40 hours, but by the end of this semester I will have around 53 credit hours. I have no idea how I should even start my personal statement. Would you guys be willing to share your stats? Any questions or comments please feel free to post! :)
Does it by chance say anything about any of them being accepted after being waitlisted?
Yes, I think it was a couple of them who were later accepted after being waitlisted (for the same semester). And one girl was accepted earlier in the spring after being waitlisted.
I just received a waitlist email. Honestly I don't know what else to feel but pissed. I have applied four times (including Spring 2019) and have been waitlisted EVERY SINGLE TIME. At this point I don't even know if I want to attend UTMB anymore. It has just been extremely exhausted being lead on. Having the impression over and over that this school wants you and then they just waitlist you over and over. I think it is just so messed up for them to even do that because the point of a waitlist is that next time you have a higher priority. Best of luck to you all!

Omg. I'm so sorry that you have been waitlisted every time! If you don't mind me asking, what are you stats?
Don't give up hope! I honestly believe that anywhere you decide to get an education, you will learn everything you need to become a great nurse! It all depends on how much effort you put into it, is what you will get out of it!
I also got waitlisted. I wish I could of gotten waitlisted sooner I doubt I'll get out the waitlist since there's couple of people that are ahead of me on the list. Luckily I applied for spring 2019 and I also got accepted elsewhere! Best of luck guys don't give up!

I already got interviewed so I think we might of gotten different emails. Mine just said that as soon as a spot opened up I'll be contacted and that it could be up until a week before orientation which is in August.

I received this email too. I am excited because I wasn't denied, but I know this does not mean I am accepted either.
