Hey! I wanted to make this post because I didn't see a thread for those who are applying to UTMB Galveston Fall 2018. I know application hasn't open yet, but I just took my teas score. I have no idea if it is good enough for UTMB standards. I currently have 40 hours, but by the end of this semester I will have around 53 credit hours. I have no idea how I should even start my personal statement. Would you guys be willing to share your stats? Any questions or comments please feel free to post! :)
I interviewed last Thursday (3/22) and my interviewer said I should hear something in 2-3 weeks. She told me she had to type up her notes from the interview and submit it to the committee. Then they all meet (I wish we knew when! Maybe this week? Or next week after Easter?!) And make their decisions and email us.
I wish we knew when the committee was meeting! I think we will hear something maybe next week? Wishful thinking? Lol
For those of you that have already interviewed, has your to-do list changes? Mine changed BEFORE my interview. I've read before that a to-do list change normally happens before being accepted, but I've never read of someone's list changing before an interview.
Would you mind telling us , if you were waitlisted after you had an interview that other time? And was there anything that they told you in terms of reapplying or waiting to take a spot from the waitlist? @Nursectp

They don't tell you anything in terms of reapplying. It's your responsibility to make the deadline (last fall I got an interview BUT FOR THE WAITLIST and the email they sent wasn't clear and made me think I was being interviewed for admission. I missed the deadline BY ONE DAY for the spring cause I wasn't even worried about applying). I found out at the interview I would just be placed on the waitlist if they liked me and then found out I couldn't apply for the spring but for summer. Flash forward, I get another interview for summer and get placed on the waitlist AGAIN. I received the exact same email about being placed on the waitlist so they don't mention what you can improve or anything of the sort. So now I'm currently on the waitlist for the summer and waiting to hear back about my spot for the fall. I'm really praying it's an acceptance because I don't even know what to think of a school who just keeps putting me on the waitlist over and over..like just decline me. I know it's something most people are thankful for but maybe 3 times? It's unfair. Anyways I'm holding out on applying for the spring in the mean time.

What did you email say?? Do they send a different email if your actually being considered for admission vs being on the waitlist?
