I was SO SO SO nervous going into the interview, but the professor that does the interviews is AMAZING. I was 100% calm within 2 minutes just because of how relaxed and easy to talk to she was! I prepared by writing down what attributes are most important for nursing school and how I have developed these attributes (with examples), challenges I will face in nursing school. I also did the exact same for actually being a nurse and thought about how I can battle the major problems nurses face in today's society. I RECOMMEND DOING THE SAME!! Good Luck! :)

I submitted my NursingCAS application on January 6th, submitted the supplemental application on January 11th, and received an interview invitation on February 26th! My interview was on March 21st.

My mystar account has not changed at all and I received an interview email yesterday!

I GOT AN INTERVIEW EMAIL TODAY!! I was seriously expecting not to get an interview because of my science GPA, so I really hope my stats give some of you hope! :) TEAS: 90.7% Overall GPA: 3.49 Science GPA: 2.75 I'm graduating from Texas A&M in August with a bachelors of science in Community Health!

Wow, I am so nervous. I do not have a good science GPA at all, but have not received a denial yet. I got a 91 on my TEAS, so hopefully that's what is, and keeps, helping me...

No, if you also apply for Spring 2019 you DO need to complete another supplemental application with the new ID. I was emailed a new ID and Supplemental Application yesterday and she replied to my email and said even though I haven't submitted the NursingCAS application, they could see that I had it complete so they went ahead and sent me the supplemental application. So, she said to just ignore the email, UNLESS I apply for Spring 2019, and if so, to use that new ID and complete the new Supplemental Application for Spring 2019! (sorry that was so long!)

I am planning on it and have my NursingCAS application for Spring 2019 all set up, but I haven't submitted it or paid the $35 to submit it, so there's no way it's for my Spring 2019 application, right?

I got an email today from UTMB with a different application number and a link to complete the supplemental application, which I already completed January 11th.....did this happen to anyone else?

Does anyone know how they make the decisions regarding who they interview? Do they accept some people and then interview the rest of the applicants? Do they interview all applicants? Or do they accept some, decline some, and then interview the applicants they haven't decided on?

I got an email saying all of my coursework had been verified from NursingCAS and then I got an email the next day from UTMB with the supplemental application!

You need to put in all of the courses!

That's what I thought too, but all I can find online is that a competitive science gpa is a 2.75, but not that it is required. Fingers crossed!! Thank You!

Overall GPA = 3.437 Prereq GPA = 3.09 Science GPA = 2.72 TEAS Test 1: Composite = 84.7 Reading = 87.2 Math = 100 Science = 72.3 English = 79.2 TEAS Retake: Composite = 90.7 Reading = 91.5 Math = 100 Science = 85.1 Reading = 83.3 I took almost all of my classes at Texas A&M College Station and have never withdrawn/dropped a class or retaking a class (which I know they look at). My personal statement and resume are both strong. Do y'all think my 90.7% on my TEAS will help me a lot since my GPAs are so low??? Or do I not have a chance?
