Hey! I wanted to make this post because I didn't see a thread for those who are applying to UTMB Galveston Fall 2018. I know application hasn't open yet, but I just took my teas score. I have no idea if it is good enough for UTMB standards. I currently have 40 hours, but by the end of this semester I will have around 53 credit hours. I have no idea how I should even start my personal statement. Would you guys be willing to share your stats? Any questions or comments please feel free to post! :)
My stats are
TEAS:
82% Overall
-Reading: 85.1%
-Math: 87.5%
-Science: 78.7%
-English and Language Use: 75.0%
GPA: 3.9 Overall
Hey guys! I've also applied to UTMB and got an interview for March 26 (which seems late since so many have been accepted already) but I've also been accepted to UTHealth for the summer. I was curious if anyone has heard how UTMB compares to UTHealth and if one is better than the other. Especially as far as clinicals and quality of hospitals go. Thanks!

I have honestly heard nothing but wonderful things about UTMB and how supportive they are. UTH seems to have mixed reviews but it has ideal clinical locations and of course shorter commute depending on where you live.

Oh and congrats on the acceptance! I am currently wait listed for UTH and awaiting an interview invite from UTMB.

Was that the earliest you could schedule for?
Hi guys! today I was interviewed at UTMB, it all went well, the person who interviewed me was so so nice and mostly focus on sharing information about the school and their support system. There are questions that are asked from a list, mostly school oriented questions, regarding study skills, family support, etc. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend to focus on not being nervous and "stiff," but to show how excited you are to start.
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

Did it cost you anything to send the report to UTMB? Is that a UTMB requirement?
