UTMB FALL 2015

Hello everyone! I think it's finally time for someone to start a fall thread so here it goes. I am applying to UTHSC and UTMB for fall semester. I gave my teas test today and idk if that score is good enough or not. My GPA is 4.0 and teas individual score is 81. How did everyone else do in their test?

I'm a little worried too. My application on CAS is still verifying. My last transcript didn't come in until the 14th. Here's to hoping it's verified real soon and I recieve the supplemental app. Fingers crossed.

So, I was able to look at my verified application. My overall GPA is 2.83. I already have a degree and the only person in my family to graduate from college. I also have CNA experience. I'm incredibly nervous.

Also, do you know if they only count retakes for prerequisites?

I believe they only look at prerequisites.

I received my MyStar account information today, so that's nice. What I meant earlier is, will UTMB take ALL of the prerequisites, including two different grades for the same course, or the grade when the course was taken for a second time? The latter of the two would be a huge advantage for me.

I was told that for retakes they will take your higher grade and calculate that into your PREREQ GPA. However, they calculate every grade into your OVERALL GPA (including your first grade). It says on the website that they look at 3 GPA's for admission: overall, prereq, and science GPA.

How long has it been in the verifying phase? The emailed me yesterday saying they received the last of my two transcripts so it just went to verifying. I submitted my app on the 14th

I believe that Nursing CAS states that it will take up to 4 weeks to verify transcripts.

I submitted my application on the 14th and still have not received the supplemental app. They are also still verifying my transcript. I am starting to get worried because from what I've read, I think I should have received the supplemental app by now.... :(

I submitted my application the end of December but my last transcript didn't get to nursing cas until Jan 15th. My application was verified This past Friday jan 23. I got my supplemental app this morning. Hang in there!

Hi, I submitted my application on the Jan 14th and I received my supplemental application last week. Ncas received my last transcript on Jan 5th, but they verified just last week. So, sometime it takes time to verify. Call Ncas and check they get your transcript or not?

On the last page of the supplemental application is has a space for your signature and ID. However, you cannot type in those areas. Do they need to be filled?
