Hello everyone! I think it's finally time for someone to start a fall thread so here it goes. I am applying to UTHSC and UTMB for fall semester. I gave my teas test today and idk if that score is good enough or not. My GPA is 4.0 and teas individual score is 81. How did everyone else do in their test?

Has anyone else been accepted off the waitlist?

I asked the lady at the student health center on campus and she said it was fine if we missed the deadline. I just submitted everything except for tb test and she said that she couldn't process me any further until I'm accepted. I'm on the waitlist with conditional acceptance.

I was wondering if anyone has heard back yet for fall? Should we just assume we won't get in until spring? If that's the case how soon do yall think we will actually receive an acceptance for spring?

( this if for those that have been waitlisted with conditional acceptance for spring )

If you have conditional acceptance then it means that you are excepted. You won't get anything else

I was waitlisted previously in a different application cycle and got accepted off the wait list in June. Some people were taken off the wait list extremely late in the summer. You will be in a time crunch to get everything completed but its not impossible. Thought I'd add words of encouragement since I remember how stressful it was waiting. For the Heb B immunizations, you just need to show that you started them and they should work with you for clinical rotations. You are automatically accepted for spring once they determine that the spots for fall are filled. Good luck!

I have been put on the waitlist for Fall 2015 with a conditional acceptance. Should I start the finger printing and Hep.B stuff now? Or should I wait for word about the waitlist?

Start now! It doesn't hurt to have the fingerprinting done or a head start on vaccines as your titers can come back non responsive or negative!

So as June is coming to an end, I was wondering if anyone else had been pulled off of the waitlist yet?
