UTMB FALL 2015

Hello everyone! I think it's finally time for someone to start a fall thread so here it goes. I am applying to UTHSC and UTMB for fall semester. I gave my teas test today and idk if that score is good enough or not. My GPA is 4.0 and teas individual score is 81. How did everyone else do in their test?

Maybe we will get pulled off the waitlist today!

For you guys with conditional acceptance for Spring, are y'all doing the precheck with drug screening? I tried clicking on the link in our check off sheet but it is sending me to a page not found. I also tried to email Mrs. Botello but she is on vacation. I'm just wondering if any of you have talked with her on this?

@Middleton00, I'm currently in summer school so I haven't gotten the chance to do that yet. Maybe try calling UTMB, I'm sure someone has an answer!

Ugh the closer it gets to August the more I see it's unlikely we'll get off of the waitlist!!! Well at least if not we'll all be in the same class together for spring! Hopefully we hear some good news in the next couple of weeks though!

Based off of what's going on in their Facebook page, there have been two other people accepted recently, so I'm assuming they were pulled of the waitlist, and one of them said they were pulled off today!?

oh wow! that is great!!!!!!!! congrats to them :) don't worry guys we still have a chance to get off the waitlist!!!! just be patient and hopeful! either way we will be going to nursing school :)

i emailed UTMB about the PreCheck and they said if you are currently waitlisted, please wait until it is determined which semester you will be attending.

Strange question regarding those who are waitlisted but conditionally accepted for the Spring. If for whatever reason we get pulled off of the waitlist last minute, can we decline and just take the offer for spring? I honestly hate this waiting game. I'd rather just take a semester off, work, save up and actually search for a place to stay and finish all my requirements in a decent time frame. I am so scared they might make calls a week before orientation and by then I've already made plans for this upcoming fall semester.

I've been wondering the same thing! People keep getting pulled off but it is getting closer and closer to when classes are suppose to start! If you find out anything about that please post or let me know!

From what I've seen and heard its around 5 people just from what my friend has seen on Facebook plus the person that was pulled from here, so it may be more.

i was pulled off the waitlist on the 8th, but never posted it on the utmb facebook page. I wasn't under conditional acceptance for the spring, i was just waitlisted. So, i'm thinking that the order in which they are pulling isn't determined on conditional acceptance or not. Hope this helps y'all. Best of luck! I'll try to regularly check the forum to see if there are any questions i can ask. The waiting game really sucks, i know. I wasn't expecting to get in, but you never know guys. don't lose hope!
