UTHSCSA Traditional BSN Application Fall 15

Hey guys!

So the application to start in the Fall of 2015 is due on February 1st. Really, that is right around the corner if you think about it!

Let this thread be dedicated to all hopefuls!

I still have to take the Teas V, but I did buy the study guide with 2 tests so hopefully that helps. My cumulative GPA will be 3.2ish and my pre-req GPA will be close to 4.0. I'm extremely anxious about getting in that is for sure!

Yeah if people deny their admissions then Ill have my chance I'm 6/10 on the wait list but who in their right mind would turn down admissions :(

Don't give up hope! There's still a good chance you'll get in. Plenty of people apply to more than one school. :)

Mine was the opposite I had 3.0 GPA but scored a 84.7 on teas

Those are some amazing GPAs.... But that teas score! :( That has to be what did it.

I think so too. Schools still place a lot of weight in how you test, because you need to test to finish your degree.

I was just thinking that as well Monatyes, and for that, I would be willing to bet you are higher on the totem pole because of the Teas V.

Everytime my phone buzzes with a notification from this group my heart sinks in my chest! :-/

I know she tried so hard...we studied for hours together for the TEAS, she ran out of time in reading and then that made her nervous for the rest. Just please be praying for her and everyone on the waiting list!

Hopefully we all hear something today because I already told like 6 people that "the news is probably coming!" Pretty sure I sound like a first time dad when his wife goes into labor lol

Fingers crossed for your dear friend. I was so stressed about that dumb test as well! Some people just don't do well under test pressure, but I bet she/he would be a fantastic nurse.

I haven't gotten anything and it makes me super nervous. I mean, I know we are ALL nervous, but I'm about to lose my ****. Lol. I'm so stressed!!
