Hello! So I had seen threads started for past classes and didn't see one yet for the Fall of 2014 class, so I figured I would start one. So let me introduce myself. My name is Will Long, I am a 27 years old male and I am applying for UTHSCSA's Traditional BSN program for the Fall of 2014. I have started my application and have signed up to take the TEAS test next Friday. I am pretty excited about finally being able to apply after finishing up all the pre-reqs. Anyways I was hoping this thread could be used a source of information and a place to ask each other questions throughout the application process. Anybody else out there applying? Have you already taken your TEAS test?

Ok you guys are making me feel better I hope that is the case! Maybe I'm just being so paranoid and scared that I'm starting to analyze everything!Seriously you guys are awesome and hope we get to be classmates! Thank you guys for the immediate responses and support!
They already let everyon know about issues with classes. My friend and I both had that email so you are good as far as that goes!
Mcruzma,
i think you should be fine. Different schools have different numbers. Just as long as it's general chemistry. And you made it past round 1. They wouldn't send supplemental applications to those who didn't qualify or had the met the requirements. That's where they deny anyone who didn't have the right pre reqs, high enough GPA's, grades, etc... I think you're safe!
Omg they are such sticklers about chemistry huh! I have 17 chemistry credits, 12 of clinical chem and then 5 general chem, all with labs of course. I live my life in chemistry everyday as a lab tech and I have to petition for the chemistry to count. Although, I'm just going to take general chem 2 in the summer because I already have "general chem" and that would for sure count. I'd rather suffer for 9 weeks then be denied to nursing school because of a stupid chem class. I hate how they won't tell you ahead of time, you have to apply before they will tell you if it counts or not!!
Mcruzma look at this... from my understanding they take either or...http://nursing.uthscsa.edu/students/BSN%20Chart%20Requirements%20Updated%202012.pdf
Also, did y'all notice they changed the humanities credit to ethics only on they Required Preq pg?
So I have Anthropology which I was hoping would count towards that... so do you think that would count still?
