Hello! So I had seen threads started for past classes and didn't see one yet for the Fall of 2014 class, so I figured I would start one. So let me introduce myself. My name is Will Long, I am a 27 years old male and I am applying for UTHSCSA's Traditional BSN program for the Fall of 2014. I have started my application and have signed up to take the TEAS test next Friday. I am pretty excited about finally being able to apply after finishing up all the pre-reqs. Anyways I was hoping this thread could be used a source of information and a place to ask each other questions throughout the application process. Anybody else out there applying? Have you already taken your TEAS test?
Hi everyone, I'm also apply for the fall semester. I've submitted my application and I'm just waiting on the supplementary package. I have over 90hrs of course works at Texas A&M with a bunch of them being science credits, so my overall GPA isn't that great. My prereq GPA is 3.3 and Science GPA is at a disappointing 3.1 lol. I took the TEAS V earlier this month and got a 91.3 overall so that will hopefully balance out my GPA. Good luck to everyone and lets get this thread going!

Your GPA is not bad. TEAS score is awesome. TEAS counts for 59% so you have a good chance IMO. Good luck.
Hey nkinjumpa, not at all. My math/science gpa is at a 3.85 and my overall is at a 3.65. My TEAS score was an 84.7%. Your scores are not bad at all and your TEAS score is great!!!
When we get our supplemental application depends on whether or not they extend the deadline. The last several admission deadlines have been extended about a month! Then it could be a few weeks before the supplemental packet is sent!
