UTHSCSA Spring 2015

I haven't seen a thread for the Health Science Center in San Antonio, so I decided to create one since I am curious as to when we will find out if we are accepted or not. I am very nervous! I really want to go to this school but I know a couple of people that didn't get accepted from previous terms that had a better GPA or a better TEAS V score than I do. I am praying!!!

Is anyone else right smack dab in the middle of midterms with the added stress of finding out whether y'all got in or not?!!

I am not worried. I'm pretty sure I am in. I don't think any male applicant should be worried. They need us!

They need qualified applicants; those with a better chance (according to the school) of becoming great nurses: female or male :) I do not think they look at gender

They factor gender in whether they say they do or not... It is like a minority. I know a guy who got into tamuhsc a couple years back who had only completed like half of his prereqs before applying and had a 3.2 GPA where the majority of people who got in (females) had 3.8 and others got rejected with 3.7 GPA.

Yes, but thats tamhsc. I mean, one of the requirements to even be considered at uthscsa is to have at least 51 credits including all science and math. So that example would not apply to our situation... Female or male with good gpa and teas score are in the same folder of applicants :)

Well that doesn't seem fair at all! I'm also just over here losing my mind with every email that hits my phone :( it would be SO nice to know exactly which day we all will be getting the news
