I haven't seen a thread for the Health Science Center in San Antonio, so I decided to create one since I am curious as to when we will find out if we are accepted or not. I am very nervous! I really want to go to this school but I know a couple of people that didn't get accepted from previous terms that had a better GPA or a better TEAS V score than I do. I am praying!!!

If you don't mind me asking, what was the hold up on the fingerprint background check with the BON review for. Feel free not to answer, but I've been wondering what there stance is on a applicant having a criminal record.

I have not recieved my second email yet, I am so nervous!!! I hope I get mine by today no later than tomorrow. My last name starts with S so I hope thats what taking it so long!! I met all the requirements!! I recieved the first email by chance looking through my junk mail,which I never go through by the way...

Last name of S here as well. Still no e-mail. I appreciate y'all keeping things updated when you are getting things. I think if they haven't made it to L yet then we might not be until next week. Skydivechic, if you dont mind me asking what does your last name start with?

Fellow applicants, if you have any criminal activity that you know will show up on your fingerprint background check report (to include arrests), please visit the TX B of N website and look at the Declaratory statement instructions; it's a good idea to get started on all the paperwork you may need to gather to send along with your statement.

Then only direction I have heard from B of N is that everything is a case-by-case basis.

The sup. app. from last semester was pretty simple to complete- 3 short essay prompts (like interview questions).

This period is a lot of "hurry up and wait" time. Once you have been conditionally accepted- then it gets busy:

make sure you have all your immunizations complete, esp. the hep B series.

The Fall peeps started orientation today; from what I have seen, we will have Plenty stress to come (and excitement of course) so-- try your best to relax right now; the emails will come, I know its no fun playing the waiting game.

Hello all! I read through this entire thread and decided to make an account! I also haven't received a second email and my last name begins with H. If the two people who have received second emails wouldn't mind sharing the first letter of their last name that would be awesome…just to let us others who are waiting know where they are in the process!! Neptune! Thank you so much for responding! You totally made me feel better! I've been freaking out because H isn't that far into the alphabet but knowing you only got yours yesterday has relieved some of my stress! Thank you again!
