An update from the author of , "I Failed out of Nursing School ... Appealed and WON!!"
You too Mavrick. Basically anyone that called her out. Quilty, that is a fair point. The reports I read all seem to vary but do not specify ADHD as the diagnosis, I stand corrected on that point.

I noticed that too. That doesn't further confirm or deny that these two identities are one and the same, but in the original thread, Jenn proclaimed that she would be the first to come post pictures of her license to rub everyone's face in it for having ever doubted her. Those pictures never seemed to materialize, just a bunch of empty claims to try and get back at people like OrganizedChaos for calling her out.

Same initials, same first name, same backstory about 2 failed classes, same timing, and finally the same attributed diagnosis. Gotta say, this exceeds my "coincidence" threshold. I am having difficulty buying that this person actually ever did graduate, let alone pass the NCLEX. You seem to be making a lot of claims but haven't really backed anything up. Not sure about the veracity of any of this and it really just comes across as an attempt to save face after all the arrogant stomping around that happened in the first couple of threads.

UTHSCSA Spring 2015
Sad to say, but the application portion is nothing compared to the first semester O_o Laptop is approx $1500-2000.00 and mandatory Books are about $1100 Set of scrubs can run 100$ or more depending on how many you get Shoes are about 100$ and they require a specific style Stethoscope is about 75$ ....and then add tuition I might be forgetting some stuff, but the basic gist is that the first semester is about $3000 in fees alone before you even count tuition. We also still have the seat reservation fee which is 250-500$ but I believe it applies toward the cost of the laptop once you are completely admitted. Gotta start saving now :/

UTHSCSA Spring 2015
Got my email as well, looks like the last batch went out today so I hope everyone received theirs! I am happy to see mine because I had a transcript that was late but Brandy was awesome and worked with me. Hopefully the rest of process continues to go off without a hitch and we all get to meet up in the spring!

I have not, but my last name is "Sn". I imagine there are quite a few S's so I don't expect one soon. Hopefully I receive one this week, but I am trying not to focus too much on it so that I dont have to stay glued to my email heh.

So we are up to "Lu" now? Marcelas, hopefully you will be tomorrow. I dont know if we will get the S's this week or not. I'm sure they have been pretty busy with the Fall semester starting so who knows.

My understanding is that if you receive the supplemental e-mail, then your TEAS and GPA passed muster. People have had issues with background checks and things in the past so it doesn't guarantee your slot, but I think it's a good indicator that your application looked good.

Thank you Neptune, this definitely helps alleviate some of the stress. I guess if they are sending G now, it may be another week or possibly two before they finish out all the applications. Good luck all!

Last name of S here as well. Still no e-mail. I appreciate y'all keeping things updated when you are getting things. I think if they haven't made it to L yet then we might not be until next week. Skydivechic, if you dont mind me asking what does your last name start with?

To echo what Neptune said, the primary means of public transportation would be the VIA bus system and it leaves a lot left to be desired. Depending on where you decide to live, it can be a change or two between destinations. They do run quite a few to the Medical Center, but it can still take far too long. A good idea might be to check areas where you are thinking about moving and plug them into Google Maps with the public transportation option to get a feel for how convenient it might be. My house is only 5 miles away but would take an hour and 2 buses to get to campus.

I would imagine that a good chunk of the applicant pool isn't qualified. When I have spoken to admissions at UT and elsewhere in the past, there are quite a few people that apply even though they don't have mandatory pre-reqs completed. In any case, good luck all and I hope to be there in the spring to meet you :)

Is that your Adjusted Individual Score or Percentile Rank? Congrats either way.
