UTHSCSA spring 2010 hopefuls!

Okay so im applying to uthscsa for the spring and was wondering if anyone knows what gpa they look at and any other helpful ideas to get an interview etc. my prereq gpa is 3.74 but my overall gpa is a 3.44...is that going to hurt my chances? :eek: i went in for a transcript review and debbie calculated the wrong gpa for me and i didnt notice until i got home. i hope they dont mess up with my application. eeeek im so nervous i wanna do everything possible to get in!!:D the only other place im applying to is sac but i much rather get my bachelor degree then an associates....

Future I did finish them ... Last night as a matter of fact! Hope everyones paper prepping is stress free.

No paperwork yet. So i haven't even started on any of the administration process stuff. I hope they are willing to give me additional time. I am so excited to get started though. :) :)

I wouldn't worry about it AFmedx13. I didn't get the email until about a week after i submitted my letter of intent and they still haven't taken off my hold for my immunization card even though that is submitted as well. I called and they said that since everyone is still getting stuff in that it may take a litle time for stuff to cleared and processed. You have until jan for one of the modules and Dec for the other. Good luck with the rush..I am excited too!

P.S. Are you still in Japan or are you going to be able to meet us for coffee ??

still in Japan---will probably not leave here until mid-December.... Yikes!!!! So were going to be rushing with house hunting and everything else!! ugh..... but that is ok,.....we'll cope!

Cali, did you have to do the online modules too? I'm just curious if anyone else got those in their new school email. Cyclical, you finished turning in all your paperwork? How about you Kassiah? Hey Kristy, have you gotten your paperwork yet?

Cali, another question: does it still show a hold for you regarding the background check along with the immunization hold? I know you had your fingerprints done last week, I had mine done last Wednesday yet it still shows a hold for me on the school's website, so I'm just curious since you had yours done a couple of days before me.

BOND, when did you send in your intent to enroll form? I think they send the email to activate your online account once they receive that paper.

I got a little card saying that i cleared from the Texas BON. They didn't have a hold for me for that but I do have a hold from the Student Health Center for my immunization card. I called to ask when that would clear up but they said since there are so many people dropping things off it may be a few days till that clears. That was monday and they just called me saying they reviewed it..it was fine but I have to go back to correct a date so I think that may be why the hold is still there.

I got the card on Tuesday in the mail. It was a really small post card. Blue.

Future, I just sent it on this Monday. I mailed the paper to them. I do not know if they got all the paper. I have to wait and see.
