UTHSCSA spring 2010 hopefuls!

Okay so im applying to uthscsa for the spring and was wondering if anyone knows what gpa they look at and any other helpful ideas to get an interview etc. my prereq gpa is 3.74 but my overall gpa is a 3.44...is that going to hurt my chances? i went in for a transcript review and debbie calculated the wrong gpa for me and i didnt notice until i got home. i hope they dont mess up with my application. eeeek im so nervous i wanna do everything possible to get in!! the only other place im applying to is sac but i much rather get my bachelor degree then an associates....

That could be and I also did my fingerprints last monday so i was a little eager beaver;) Have fun dropping everything off...I get so excited being on campus . Today I meet such a nice student who is already in the program. Everyone I have bumped into has been so super great!

I know this is going to come as a COMPLETE shock to everyone here,......BUT,......... I'm IN!!!!! I'm a little late,.....but who cares right! There was a mess-up with my package, and thank goodness the school was willing to re-review my package. I am so excited!!! I really thought my opportunity was long and gone! Whew. :) :) :)

Kristy, that's awesome! Glad to have you as a fellow student! Cali, I got that same email and set up my info. I took the three training courses online already, they took about half an hour each to complete. I turned in all my info today to the health center so I'm done, I hope. Can't wait to meet everyone for coffee...

so they mailed my acceptance letter out yesterday. I hope it gets here fast! I can't wait to get started, and to catch up on all of the administrative stuff!!!! Ah!!! i am still in disbelief!!!!! :) :) :) :) :)

I got the emails and set my email and stuff up...but someone said something about 3 trainings...what's that all about? I didn't get anything regarding that :o/

Hey cwdoll, when you open your email through login.live.com there should be at least two emails from the school containing "training" modules, such as what to do in the event you get stuck by a needle and also about online security with school computers and such... They're each done online and take about half an hour each to navigate through.
