UTHSCSA 2018 Spring Applicants

Hi, I'm Jen. I'm 36 and currently finishing up my pre-requisites at SAC. I'll be applying to UTHSCSA next year around this time for Spring 2018.

Just wanted to chat with other students hoping to attend the same school, though I admit I'm a bit early on the train - excited!

There are other older threads that they didn't find out for two months. I've told myself by October 1st and I'm trying not to sweat it anymore, though I do secretly hope that we find out the 6th week, which is my birthday week :)

I've read they send out rejection notifications, then acceptance, then wait-list. I'm not sure how true this is anymore, because they are in the process of changing quite a few things with staff and programs.

So happy to see this thread. I've been so nervous waiting to hear back since it should be any day now.

Overall GPA: 3.8

Math/Science GPA: 3.5

TEAS: 83

I applied to both UTHSCSA and UIW and haven't heard back from either...so my anxiety has been through the roof.

Also, Jen, we had Chem together at SAC this summer! Good luck to everyone!

No. I called them to find out where I am on the wait list. They dont tell you what postion your in on the wait list. And she said they will email you if a spot open. Thats about it.

If it helps at all, our acceptance paperwork was due on Friday, so I imagine you guys that were wait-listed will hear soonish. Fingers crossed for you guys!
