Hi, I'm Jen. I'm 36 and currently finishing up my pre-requisites at SAC. I'll be applying to UTHSCSA next year around this time for Spring 2018.
Just wanted to chat with other students hoping to attend the same school, though I admit I'm a bit early on the train - excited!

I am also applying for the Spring. I feel i don't have much of a chance but I am applying anyways just in case.

If you don't mind me asking, what's your GPA & TEAs score??
My GPA is 3.034 and I got a 76.7 on my TEAS. I still have to complete Sociology in July. And I'm not sure what my science GPA is, I have C's in both Anatomies and both Chemistries
I'm about the same! I think I might have to retake my TEAS exam.

I scored low on the TEAS (73.3%). I am taking two summer 1 courses, Chem 2 and Nutrition. Right now my science and math GPA is at a 3.65 and my other requirements GPA are at a 3.64 GPA. If I make C's for my last two summer courses, my GPA will drop to a 3.4ish. Besides failing, C's are the worst possible outcome. I am hoping to make it in time to apply for spring semester, I know I'm cutting it short. I am giving this my best shot and if I don't get in for spring, I will try my best for fall... I'm so nervous ðŸ™
I think you definitely have a chance. All depends on the stats of the applicants. Hope you do well in your summer classes í ½í¸Š

Hello, I was wandering if anyone had any more information about application deadline. I know the deadline for spring 2018 is august 1st but does this mean you just have to submit it to nursingcas by this date or does this mean nursingcas has to be completely finished finalizing your application, such as transcript verification and such. PLEASE HELP i don't want to get my hopes up if it is to late to apply.
I think I answered you somewhere else, but they need your completed application and your transcripts. They don't have to be done evaluating them yet.
