UTHSC Summer 2015 Application

I know it's early, but I wanted to start a thread for those of us planning to apply to UTHSC for the Summer 2015 session. I am hoping to go the Pacesetter route. I currently have a degree in Communications and I'm finally able to change careers and follow my dream. I'm a high-school teacher that will be resigning in June when the school year ends. I have a lot of prereqs already taken, but have a few to go, as well. I'm currently taking Intro to Pscyh online, will take Lifespan in May, and Intro to Soci and and A&P I & II over the summer.

If you are applying to start in this summer session too, please join in the discussion! We'll need to lean on each other as we go through this tough (but wonderful) process!

They notify by e-mail and my uth (to pay your deposit) first and we get mail like 3 weeks after

I got a call today and they told me I was accepted!

My status also changed on the my ut web page to initiated... did anybody else get this?

congrats and I am so jealous! haha but hopefully that means they are sending out another round of acceptances

Congrats Mell Allvarez!

I have never heard of them calling applicants - such person treatment!

I hope this does mean another round of acceptances. I realize that I am impatient but I think every program in the state is going in super-slow motion and is behind the typical timeline.

For the ones who were accepted formally, what is the status on your my UT page?

did they say if there was a specific reason for why they called or anything like that?

It was JoAnne Mendoza, she told me that my application had rolled over from spring applications and that she had a spot for me. :)

I need to know how to check online where it says my official acceptance.. someone help!

Also, I did not get an email... or mail... sooooo I'm slightly nervous about it all until I see the 'green' check mark.

Me too! MelllAlllvarez. I have one thing on my to do list (which should be my final transcript after I graduate this semester) but my status says wait list/incomplete. I assume it means incomplete for my transcript but maybe it means wait list? I'm not sure and I hope we hear soon!

Rolled over? Did you apply for summer as well?
