UTHSC (Memphis) ABSN Fall 2022

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

UTHSC College of Nursing has already started sending out acceptance letters. Anyone else got accepted? I created a FB group. UTHSC ABSN Fall 2022.

I got accepted as well! I was honestly surprised because I thought I did bad on the virtual assessment portion haha. I also applied to the UofM, so waiting to hear back from them too before I make my decision. I'm sure both programs are great, but the UofM is a LOT closer to my house and UTHSC said my admission is pending US History II for some reason ? I never had to take it in high school/college so it seems strange I would need that

Congrats! I'm in the same situation, applied to LCON as well and live closer to the UofM.

I'm taking US History classes at the UofM this semester to fulfill that requirement. I'm trying to figure out if I'll have to take English Literature too. I sure hope not ? Are you done with all the other prerequisites?

The results should be out by the end of March according to the email LCON sent last Friday, just around the time when the commitment fees are due for UTHSC.

Hey, what exactly is the virtual assembly interview?  Any tips to prepare?

Hopefully not! And yes, I'll be done with all mine once this semester ends!

The virtual assessment was where they give you pre-recorded questions and you have like maybe a minute or so to prepare and like a minute to respond. It was kind of weird because you're just talking to yourself essentially, haha. They mostly asked typical interview questions, like tell me about a time when... etc

Thank you! That's good to know. Interviews always make me so stressed so maybe that'll be better for me or not haha

I think the virtual interview style was a little better for me because of the 1.5 minute of preparation time after each question, and the fact that you can take it whenever you feel ready.

I am still waiting to hear back about acceptance or not... did y'all receive an email or through the mail?

I received an email first and an acceptance letter through the mail 2 days later.
