UTHSC Houston - Summer 2016 Applicants

Hey everyone!

I couldn't find a thread for Summer 2016 that was active so I'm starting one here! I am also an applicant for Fall 2016 but I'm applying for both because the deadlines are close and I really want to go here!! :laugh:

So far I'm taking courses over the summer right now and going to finish my prerequisites this fall. I JUST finished the HESI exam today!!! Hope to hear from all of you soon :up:

@maaadddzzz I'm taking mine at the lone star college in Montgomery. Where did you take yours??

@ J-Murse23 after this fall semester I need 7 more credit hours but I'm trying to work out something with my advisors right now

I took mine at Blinn College in Bryan with a Texas A&M prof! I considered re-taking it but I would have to make an A for it to help my GPA at all and it barely even helps

Oh sorry I forgot for a second! If it doesn't affect it too much, maybe you should just take the other classes before considering a retake?

@J-Murse23 Yes, I'm trying to get everything finished because I'm not too sure about when to finish all 60 credits so I thought it would be safer to get them all done ASAP. Are you going to finish all credits by the end of this year?

I am currently taking Chem 1 this summer and after this upcoming Fall semester I will need 13 credit hours. I plan on doing a winter mini so that I can reduce the number to 10 credit hours, but as long as you have them done before the program starts then it is fine. Remember that they said to at least have 50 of the 60 credit hours before you apply.

I understand :) I could still technically apply for the summer of 2016, but I want to enjoy it before Nursing School:snurse: I am taking my classes at Lee College.

Hey! So I'm currently looking to apply to UTHSC.

For anyone that has already did the application process, could you tell me how that went.

I'm little confused, so you can have 40 of the 60 prerequisites done in order to apply?
