UTHSC Houston - Fall 2013

Greetings!

I am applying to UTHSC Houston - Fall 2013. Anybody else?

I was having trouble accepting it online so I called. The lady I talked to is looking into it. I still have a little yellow triangle saying my thing is incomplete, but I did receive the email. She took down my phone number and said she would call me.

Mine is the exact same thing, can i have the number called please?

Ok she just called me back saying their system didn't take the changes they made to it, but they will have it fixed by tomorrow. She said if you got the email you are accepted so no worries. We should be able to accept our acceptance soon lol.

lol yea she called me back within like 3 min. I called the main number and then pressed the button to talk to an admissions counselor. Here it is if you have anymore trouble 713-500-2000.

So what are yalls first choices and why? I have been accepted to both UTMB and UT Houston and I also applied to TWU-Houston it is such a hard decision!

I've been accepted to UTHSC-SA and UT Houston. I'm still waiting on TAMHSC-CS, which is my first choice because I'm currently a student at A&M and I'm not ready to leave Aggieland just yet :)

If I got accepted in TWU- Houston, I don't which to choose.. It is hard. I applied to UTMB also, but not the honors program so i haven't found out yet. But I'd rather stay in the Houston area.

Oh okay yeah I feel like most people want to stay closer to houston and that affects their decision alot. I have to move either way to it really doesn't matter to me haha. I'm sure if you are accepted into UTHSC you will have NO problem getting into TWU!

UT sent their acceptances out so early! I was not expecting this!

I know! I was going to call them today because I never received a transcript evaluation, then I checked my email and was like well never mind. I chose UTHSC because I wanted to be in Houston. I couldn't apply to TWU because Im taking nutrition this semester and you have to have it finished to apply. I also couldn't take the TEAS in time for UTMB. So my only other option was Prairie View.

Congrats to everyone who just got their acceptance! If you don't mind, would you share your stats with the rest of us still waiting. And does anyone know how they send out acceptances? Is it in one big group, or a little at a time? Thanks in advance. Here are my stats.

Prereq gpa- 3.94

Science gpa- 4.0

Hesi test- 94

Critical thinking-790

I got mine too!!! I didn't think I will get accepted to UTHSC because of my low HESI score! I'm thrilled! Now, I have to decided which program I want to go, and I'm still waiting to hear from TWU. Congrats to those who got accepted!
